Dubuque Chorale - Concerts

SongFest

The Dubuque Chorale joins other local choirs for a celebration of choral music. Choirs include the Chorale and Cadenza, the Julien Chamber Choir, and groups from Loras, Clarke, the University of Dubuque, Emmaus, and UW-Platteville.

Program: Musical offerings from each individual ensemble, and a group choir performance of Stephen Paulus’s Pilgrim’s Hymn.

Heaven and Earth

The Dubuque Chorale joins the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra for a program of Bach, Brahms, and Beethoven.

Program: Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring and For Thee, O Lord, I Long. Brahms’s How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place and Song of Destiny. Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 “Pastoral.”

Holiday Celebration!

The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra's annual Holiday Celebration Concert featuring the Dubuque Chorale and special guests.

Program: The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Dubuque Chorale, soprano Sarah Ellis and members of Dubuque's Heartland Ballet perform your favorite Christmas selections, including a new piece by Dubuque native and composer Michael Gilbertson.

Let the River Run »

The Dubuque Chorale acclaims the heritage of our Mississippi and all the world’s the great rivers.

Program: A multi-media event with river-themed music, art, and poetry. Special performances for local 8th-graders will be offered the week before the main performance, and will include the results of a poetry and artwork contest.
