Join the Dubuque Chorale and Cadenza for the debut of the Dubuque Chorale Children’s Choir. The program explores the theme of children and childhood, drawing on the vast repertoire of choral music based on poetry and literature written about, for, and by children. Songs range from classical to contemporary, contemplative to whimsical and joyful.

The program includes spirituals arranged by Moses Hogan, texts from Robert Louis Stevenson's “Child’s Garden of Verses,” John Rutter’s “Five Childhood Lyrics,” Stephen Caracciolo’s “Songs of Innocence,” and selections from Eric Whitacre’s “The City and the Sea.” There will also be selections from Broadway musicals, and a variety of songs by the Children’s Choir.

Admission is free of charge. A free-will offering will be taken.

Church of the Nativity

Nativity is on Alta Vista a block south of Loras Blvd. Parking is available in the adjacent lot.
